Things worth setting up first
Three optional steps that make every later run smoother — none of them block your first clip.
None of this is required. Do your first run without any of it, then come back once you know you like the output.
- Connect your social accounts. Posting and scheduling need them, and connecting takes a minute per platform.
- Pick a caption style. Try a few on one finished clip before you commit a batch to one look.
- Decide your aspect ratio. 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts; 1:1 for feed posts; 16:9 if the clip is going back onto YouTube.
