Changing the aspect ratio
9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 out of the same source.
- 9:16 — TikTok, Reels, Shorts. The default.
- 1:1 — square feed posts.
- 16:9 — back onto YouTube, or into a landscape embed.
Reframing is applied per ratio, so a 1:1 render is not a letterboxed 9:16 — the framing is recalculated for the shape.
Common questions
Will I get black bars?
No. The frame is recomposed for the target ratio rather than padded.
