How long a video can be
The minimum and maximum length per plan, and why a minimum exists at all.
There is a floor as well as a ceiling. The floor exists because a video shorter than two minutes rarely contains a complete, self-contained moment worth cutting out of it — you would be clipping a clip.
- Minimum: 2 minutes, on every plan.
- Free run: up to 30 minutes of video.
- Trial: up to 30 minutes per video.
- Paid plans: up to 120 minutes per video.
Length is checked before a large upload transfers, not after. You will never sit through a long upload only to be told at the end that the file was out of range.
Common questions
What happens if my video is over the limit?
You are told before the upload starts, with the limit for your plan.
Why is there a two-minute minimum?
Below two minutes there is usually no complete thought to cut out — the clip would be the whole video.
