Which video sources are supported
YouTube links, livestream URLs from Twitch, Kick and YouTube Live, and direct file uploads.
There are three ways to get a video in, and they all end at the same engine.
- YouTube URL. Any public video. Nothing to download first.
- Livestream URL. Twitch, Kick and YouTube Live, clipped while the stream is running.
- Direct upload. MP4, MOV and MKV from your own machine.
Private, members-only and age-restricted videos cannot be fetched by link. Download them yourself and upload the file instead.
Common questions
Can I use a private YouTube link?
No — an unlisted or private video cannot be fetched by URL. Upload the file directly instead.
Does it work on a Twitch VOD as well as a live stream?
Yes, both.
