ClipSpeed clips your Twitch, Kick or YouTube live stream while you are still on air. About every three minutes it captures what just happened and turns it into a vertical, captioned clip with a title and a viral score, so the best moment of the stream is ready to post before the stream ends. It works on any game or category, nothing is installed, and it uses 1 credit per minute it watches.
At a glance
Clip your next stream while it is live
Paste a Twitch, Kick or YouTube live link and the first clips arrive while you are still streaming.
Start live clipping for $1twitch.tv or kick.com channel, or a YouTube live link. ClipSpeed reads the public stream the same way a viewer's player does, so your PC and stream setup are untouched. The session runs until the stream ends, until you stop it, or until your credits run out. Stopping keeps every clip already made.
Live clips come in four layouts: square (the default), vertical, rectangle and split. When the stream is gameplay with a facecam, the split layout is chosen automatically, so your reaction stays on screen above the play. Starting a session from Claude or ChatGPT also lets you pick the layout and caption style yourself.
Clip live when speed matters; clip the VOD when you want every moment of a long stream. Most AI clippers start from the recording after you go offline. That is fine for a weekly highlights video, but the first clips of a big moment usually win the views, and they get posted by whoever has them first.
| Live clipping | After the stream (VOD) | |
|---|---|---|
| When clips are ready | During the stream, about every 3 minutes | After the stream ends and the recording is processed |
| Best for | Posting a moment while viewers are still talking about it | Highlight reels and catching every moment of a long stream |
| On ClipSpeed | Live clipping, 1 credit per minute watched | Paste the VOD link: 2 credits per minute of video |
You can use both: clip live during the stream, then run the full recording afterwards. See how to clip YouTube live streams and the livestream clipping guide for the full workflow.

Yes. Add the ClipSpeed MCP connector and ask: “clip my Kick stream while I play and show me the best clips so far.” The clip_livestream tool starts the session, check_livestream returns the clips so far with titles, scores and previews, and stop_livestream ends it. Sessions started from chat stop after 60 minutes by default to protect your credits and can be extended to 180. See clipping MCP servers compared for how this differs from other connectors.
Yes. ClipSpeed watches a Twitch, Kick or YouTube live stream as it airs and turns each capture of about three minutes into a vertical clip with a title and a viral score, so clips are ready while you are still live. Captions are burned in a few minutes after each clip.
Twitch, Kick and YouTube Live. You give ClipSpeed the channel or the live link; nothing is installed on your PC and your stream setup does not change.
No. ClipSpeed live clipping is not tied to a game list, so it runs on any game, Just Chatting, IRL streams and podcasts. Eklipse Live Clipping, by comparison, supports Call of Duty: Warzone, Black Ops 7 and Battlefield 6 on Twitch and pauses on other games.
Live clipping uses 1 credit per minute it watches, from the same credits as uploads and AI video, so a one-hour session uses about 60 credits. You can stop a session at any time and keep every clip it made. The $1 3-day trial includes live clipping.
Yes. The ClipSpeed MCP connector has clip_livestream, check_livestream, extend_livestream and stop_livestream, so you can ask your assistant to clip your channel while you play and show you the clips so far.
The tool clips any public Twitch, Kick or YouTube live stream, which is how clippers and agencies work for streamers. Only post clips of other creators with their permission or under a clipping program that allows it.
ClipSpeed details describe the live clipping service as it runs on October 26, 2026: capture cadence, per-minute credits, platforms, layouts and caption styles. Eklipse details were read on eklipse.gg/features/live-clipping/ on the same day; we did not run a paid Eklipse session. Features change, so check both pages before you decide.
