Nano Banana Pro is Google’s high-end image model, and it is the default image model in ClipSpeed for three reasons. It is consistently photoreal, especially with people. It renders text — headlines, signage, packaging — legibly and as written, which most image models still fumble. And it accepts up to four reference images, so it can carry your real product, logo or character into a brand-new scene.
Text prompts describe; references show. Attach a product photo and say “keep the product, logo and lettering unchanged”, and the packaging survives while everything around it changes — see the before-and-after on the product photo page. Attach a character image and the same face appears in a new setting.
Nano Banana Pro understands layout instructions. Ask for “a 3-by-2 grid of 16:9 frames with thin white gutters, labelled SHOT 1 to SHOT 6” and you get a usable storyboard. Every AI Influencer character sheet — a portrait plus a full-body view of one character — is made by Nano Banana Pro for the same reason.
Choose 1K, 2K or 4K, in 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, 3:4, 4:3, 2:3, 3:2, 5:4 or 21:9. In ClipSpeed credits, 1K and 2K cost the same, so 2K is usually the sweet spot; save 4K for print, large banners or images you plan to crop. Read more in our Nano Banana Pro guide, or compare it with GPT Image 2 on the AI image generator page.
Start with what the image is for, then the subject and what it is doing, the setting, the light, the camera or lens, and any exact text in quotes. For edits, describe only what should change and say plainly what must stay the same — the model takes that sentence seriously.
